Welcome to the arena. Trossö, the historic centre of Karlskrona and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers a unique blend of naval history, charming streets, open squares, and intricate urban terrain – a perfect setting for sprint orienteering.

Tuesday 30th June - Sprint Relay

The Sprint Relay also takes place in the heart of Trossö, where the historic streets, squares and waterfront surroundings of Karlskrona create a challenging and exciting urban race arena.

Wednesday 1st July - Long

The Long Distance race takes competitors into the forests of Augerum, where varied vegetation and changing runnability provide a demanding challenge. From fast-running beech forest to slower coniferous areas, combined with flat to moderately hilly terrain, the courses will reward both physical strength and smart route choices.

Friday 3d July - Middle

The Middle Distance race takes competitors to Bussevik on the Torhamn peninsula. The terrain consists of pine, oak and beech forest interspersed with open rock surfaces that often provide fast running and interesting route choice options. With generally high runnability and a flat landscape, the courses will place a premium on technical precision and flow through the terrain.

Saturday 4th July - Forest Relay, Closing Ceremony

The Relay in Bussevik concludes the World Championships. The terrain is predominantly flat, with pine, oak and beech forest combined with open rock surfaces that often provide fast running and interesting route choice opportunities. Small areas of cultural landscape and traces of old stone pits add further character to the terrain.

SPECTATOR RACES -
JWOC O-TOUR

We would like to invite fans, spectators, JWOC participant families and the sporting public to participate in the accompanying JWOC O-Tour races. Five races will be available from Tuesday the 30th June to Sunday the 5th July, including a rest day on the 2nd July. All races will be in the JWOC-terrains or directly nearby the JWOC terrains, so everybody can experience the beautiful and challenging Blekinge-terrains.
